Come visit the DEC’s Salmon River Hatchery’s 26th Annual Open House on Sat., 27 Sep., from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM with Behind-the-Scenes tours of the hatchery, talk to local conservation organizations, try your hand at air archery and casting for backyard bass in the grass with Oswego 4H, or walk Oswego Soil & Water Conservation District’s short nature “trail”, and view the salmon making their way up the fish ladder. Help support Altmar Volunteer Fire Department who is offering food during the event.
