Honorary Chair

National Hunting & Fishing Day Honorary Chair

For years, dedicated anglers, hunters, and sportsmen and women alike have served as honorary chairs for National Hunting & Fishing Day. Through partnerships with sporting greats and outdoor enthusiasts, we mark the annual event with those who share their love of the outdoors in the spirit of introducing new people to the sport. National Hunting & Fishing Day brings people together, educates new audiences and promotes conservation across the country. We are grateful to all those who participate in this annual event and continue its work year-round - as an honorary chair or first-time adventurers!

Luke Combs

Country music superstar Luke Combs has been named the honorary chairman for the 50th annual National Hunting and Fishing Day. The surprise announcement was made at Bass Pro Shop’s World’s Fishing Fair Concerts for Conservation. Ahead of an encore performance, Johnny Morris, Founder of Bass Pro Shops and noted conservationist, presented Comb’s with the Honorary Chair Plaque and a 50th Anniversary Special Edition Bass Tracker signed by all employees who helped manufacture the boat.

Luke Combs is not only the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, 6x CMA, 3x ACM and 3x Billboard Music Award-winner but an avid outdoorsman and encourages country music fans to get involved in NHF Day and the great outdoors. Conservation truly lasts “Forever After All."
