2009 -- On Target for a Cure, Sporting Clays Tournament

On Target for A Cure, Sporting Clays Tournament benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society kicks off its fourth year on Saturday, November 7, Elm Fork Shotgun Sports - 10751 Luna Road, Dallas, Texas 75220. Armed with a cause, On Target for a Cure includes a day of shooting with a lunch and on-site silent auction at Elm Fork Shotgun Sports. Corporate teams, father/son teams and friends come together for a day of clay shooting, camaraderie and a competitive spirit for a cure. Individual shooters are $150 and event sponsorship begins at $800 and includes shooting fees for a four-person team, lunch, t-shirt, ammunition as well as recognition.

2009 – Northwest Texas Field & Stream Open House for NHF Day

The Northwest Texas Field and Stream Association will host an Open House September 26, 2009 from 10 AM to 4 PM at our shooting ranges located on Friberg Road east of Sheppard Air Force Base. The public is invited to enjoy our facilities and have a free hot dog lunch.
There will be .22 rifle and pistol shooting on paper, spinner and breaking targets at our 50 foot Youth Range which will be run by our Youth Rifle Project personnel. We even have a 16 can Soda Popper target. We will have club shotguns and ammo for those wishing to try their hand at trap shooting. There will be an NRA Regional Pistol Match at our 36 point turning target range for those who want to compete or simply watch competitive pistol shooters doing what they do best.
Bring the family, bring a friend. If you don't bring a gun, we'll have one.

American Deer & Wildlife Alliance (ADWA) invites families to come out for the Second Annual ADWA Bow Hunting & Archery Clinic in Austin, Texas.
The ADWA Bow Hunting & Archery Clinic includes two hours of personal archery instruction and generous raffle items. Attendees will also receive goody bags containing the highly acclaimed youth publication, SPIKES Magazine, and various other goodies donated by corporate members of ADWA.

They opened the business with a storefront in Bridgeport and moved to their present location at 1691 W. Hwy. 380 about three years ago. The Bernardos also run a successful wild game processing operation at the same location
